Appeals, Nos. 2083 and 2084 C.D. 1977, from the Order of the Court of Common Pleas of Carbon County in case of Joseph A. Malatesta v. Board of Supervisors, East Penn Township, No. 81 January Term, 1977 and No. 114 October Term, 1977.
Abolishment of police position by Board of Supervisors of East Penn Township challenged by police officer by appeal to and action in mandamus in the Court of Common Pleas of Carbon County. Appeal and complaint dismissed. HEIMBACH, S.J. Police Officer appealed to the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. Held: Affirmed. Application for reargument filed and denied.

Joseph A. Malatesta appeals the order of the Court of Common Pleas of Carbon County, dated September 30, 1977. The lower court affirmed the decision of the Board of Supervisors of East Penn Township abolishing the office of full-time policeman, and dismissed the appeal. We affirm on the able opinion of Senior Judge HEIMBACH which is located at 6 Carbon Cnty. L.J. 210 (1977).
