Mahlow v. Litow

Supreme Court of Michigan
Jul 2, 2002
649 N.W.2d 71 (Mich. 2002)

Opinion

No. 121784 (12)(13).

July 2, 2002.

COA: 241604, Washtenaw CC: 01-000037-NZ

On order of the Court, the motion for immediate consideration is considered, and it is GRANTED.

The motion for a stay also is considered, and it is GRANTED. The May 28, 2002 order of the Washtewnaw County Circuit Court is stayed until that court rules on the remaining portions of the plaintiff's motion to compel production of records.

The application for leave to appeal from the June 14, 2002 decision of the Court of Appeals also is considered, and it is DENIED, because we are not persuaded that the questions presented should now be reviewed by this Court. The denial is without prejudice to the defendants' future rights to appeal all of the circuit court's rulings on the motion to compel production of records and to move for a stay of the circuit court's order or orders.

Young, Jr., J., not participating.
