On Appeal from the County Court at Law No. 4 Dallas County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. CC-19-01182-D
ORDER
Before the Court is appellant's June 26, 2020 motion requesting (i) the Court and FBI to review all documents filed by appellees for authenticity and (ii) requesting production of all communications and documents between appellees and the Court. To the extent appellant is concerned that any documents filed by appellees in support of the merits of their position may not be authentic, we note that, other than for jurisdictional purposes, we consider only matters included in the appellate record. See Greystar, LLC v. Adams, 426 S.W.3d 861, 865 (Tex. App.—Dallas 2014, no pet.). To the extent appellant asks us to produce all documents and communications with appellees, we note that, under Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 9.5(a), the party filing a document in the Court is responsible for serving a copy on the other parties to the proceeding. See TEX. R. APP. P. 9.5(a). Additionally, copies of Court-produced documents related to an appeal are sent to all parties, and a case summary of each appeal can be found on the Court's website. Accordingly, we DENY the motion.
We note appellant's motion does not include the certificates of service and conference required by the rules of appellate procedure. See id. 9.5(a), 10.1(a)(5). We caution appellant that any further motions must include the required certificates.
