OPINION AND ORDER

On October 11, 2000, I dismissed plaintiff's complaint because I was unable to discern the basis for his claim. I gave plaintiff 30 days to file an amended complaint which complies with the federal pleading rules and warned plaintiff that I would dismiss the action if he failed to do so. Plaintiff filed nothing further with the court. Accordingly, this action is dismissed without prejudice. All pending motions to dismiss on behalf of defendants are moot (#6 and #7).

IT IS SO ORDERED.
