JUDGMENT


This action came before the Court for jury trial of the remaining issues. The jury rendered a verdict that defendants Victor Caloca and William Hansen did not violate plaintiff Richard Loritz' right to be free from coercive questioning, and defendants Victor Caloca, William Hansen, and Janet Ryzdynski did not violate plaintiff Richard Loritz' right not to be denied telephone calls. Before the remaining issues were submitted to the jury, the Court granted judgment for defendants Donald Tapper, Eric Larsen, the County of San Diego, and Bill Kolendar in his official capacity. This judgment terminates the entire action as to all parties and claims mentioned above. In addition, after having considered the decision in Loritz v. United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, 382 F.3d 990, 991 (9th Cir. 2004), which finalizes all claims decided by this Court pursuant to Heck v. Humphrey, 512 U.S. 475 (1994) and collateral estoppel principles, this judgment terminates the entire action as to all parties and claims.
