SIMON SAMUEL LOPEZ, JR., Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the 219th Judicial District Court Collin County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. 380-80596-10

ORDER

We REINSTATE this appeal.

On June 13, 2017, we ordered the trial court to conduct a hearing to determine why appellant's brief has not been filed. On June 19, 2017, appellant's brief was received along with a motion to extend time for filing the same. In the interest of expediting the appeal and because we have not received the trial court's findings, we VACATE the June 13, 2017 order requiring findings.

We GRANT appellant's June 19, 2017 motion and ORDER appellant's brief filed as of the date of this order.

We DIRECT the Clerk to send a copy of this order to Judge Scott Becker, Presiding Judge, 219th Judicial District Court.
