An appeal having been taken to this Court by petitioner-appellant from the order of the Family Court, Bronx County, entered on or about March 13, 2018, insofar as it granted petitioner a final one-year order of protection and denied her request for a final five-year order of protection, And petitioner-appellant having moved for an order extending the final one-year order of protection, which expires on March 12, 2019, pending the hearing and determination of the appeal (M-994), and for an order restoring the appeal to the Court's calendar and enlarging her time to perfect same, and other relief (M-1037),Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the motion, and due deliberation having been had thereon, It is ordered that the motion for an order extending the final one year order of protection pending the hearing and determination of the appeal (M-994) is denied. Petitioner, if so advised, is directed to apply to the Family Court, New York County to extend the order of protection pursuant to Section 842 of the Family Court Act, and It is further ordered that the motion (M-1037) is granted to the extent of enlarging petitioner's time to perfect the appeal to the September 2019 Term. The branch of the motion (M-1037) seeking to restore the appeal to the Court's calendar is denied, as unnecessary.
