Ligon v. Hall

Supreme Court of Arkansas
Dec 17, 2009
2009 Ark. 635 (Ark. 2009)

Opinion

09-261

Opinion Delivered December 17, 2009

Motion for Default Judgment Order of Disbarment, Special Master Appointed.

Respondent Timothy Mark Hall was personally served with a petition for disbarment on September 19, 2009. Mr. Hall has not responded, and attempts by the Committee on Professional Conduct to locate Mr. Hall have failed. The Committee is seeking a default judgment based upon the facts in their original petition, which claim serious misconduct on the part of Mr. Hall. The Committee now prays that this court deem the allegations in their original petition admitted and proven, enter a default judgment, and that Mr. Hall be disbarred.

Given the circumstances of the case, we hereby appoint a special master, the Honorable Rice VanAusdall, to make findings of fact, conclusions of law, and a recommendation as to the appropriate sanction. Upon receipt of the master's findings, we will render a decision in the matter.

Special master appointed.
