SHOMOY ANDERSON LEWIS, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Diana L. Leyden Special Trial Judge

This case is calendared for trial at the March 11, 2024, Hartford, Connecticut, Trial Session of the Court.

On January 8, 2024, the parties filed a Proposed Stipulated Decision (Index #14), along with a Stipulation of Settlement (Index #15). Upon review of the parties' proposed stipulated decision document the Court noted the following error: (1) the preamble should read "Pursuant to the Stipulation". Accordingly, the Court will strike the Proposed Stipulated Decision (Index #14). Upon review of the Stipulation of Settlement, it appears that the parties attached both the decision and the settlement stipulation in one document. Thus, it is an improper filing because the Settlement Stipulation and the Proposed Stipulated Decision shall be filed separately. Accordingly, the Court will strike the Stipulation of Settlement (Index #15) from the record. For cause, it is

ORDERED that the parties' Proposed Stipulated Decision (Index #14), filed January 8, 2024, is hereby stricken from the Court's record and shall not be viewable as part of this case. It is further

ORDERED, that the parties' Stipulation of Settlement (Index #15), filed January 8, 2024, is stricken from the Court's record and shall not be viewable as part of this record.
