United States District Court, E.D. California
May 25, 2011
NO. CIV. S-10-2012 LKK/KJM (E.D. Cal. May. 25, 2011)

Opinion

NO. CIV. S-10-2012 LKK/KJM.

May 25, 2011

ORDER

On April 8, 2011, the court dismissed plaintiff's only federal claim and ordered the parties to show cause as to why this case should not be remanded to state court for lack of subject matter jurisdiction. No parties responded to the order to show cause. Accordingly, the court finds that this case no longer presents a federal question, and it declines to exercise supplemental jurisdiction over plaintiff's state law claims. 28 U.S.C. § 1367(c)(3).

For these reasons, the court REMANDS this case to state court. The clerk of the court is directed to close this case.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
