ORDER

This case is calendared for trial at the Court's December 2, 2024, Jacksonville, Florida Trial Session.

On November 28, 2023, docket entry 1, the Petition in this case was filed. Petitioner alleges that he was the victim of identity theft. On November 1, 2024, docket entry 12, respondent filed a Status Report indicating that both the IRS Office of Appeals and respondent's counsel have made numerous attempts to contact petitioner about this case. Petitioner has been unresponsive. In addition, respondent's Status Report indicates that should petitioner continue to not participate, respondent intends to file a Motion to Dismiss for Failure to Properly Prosecute.

After due consideration, it is

ORDERED that jurisdiction of this case is retained by this Division of the Court. It is further

ORDERED that this case is stricken for trial from the December 2, 2024, Jacksonville, Florida Trial Session of the Court, and this case is continued. It is further

ORDERED that petitioner shall contact the chambers of the undersigned Judge at (202) 521-0840 as soon as possible for the purpose of scheduling a conference call to discuss this case. It is further

ORDERED that, on or before December 31, 2024, the parties shall submit decision documents; or file a Joint Status Report (or, if that is not possible, then separate reports) as to the then-present status of this case; or file an appropriate Motion with the Court.
