Lawrence v. State

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Second District
Nov 10, 1999
744 So. 2d 569 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 1999)

Opinion

No. 98-04785.

Opinion filed November 10, 1999.

Appeal from nonfinal order of the Circuit Court for Polk County; William Bruce Smith, Judge.

John J. Lawrence, pro se.

Robert A. Butterworth, Attorney General, Tallahassee, and Jon J. Johnson, Assistant Attorney General, Tampa, for Appellee.

John J. Lawrence appeals the trial court's order dismissing his request for modification of child support. We affirm because the trial court did not abuse its discretion in dismissing the amended motion for modification of child support when Lawrence presented no evidence at the hearing.

Affirmed.

PATTERSON, C.J., and PARKER and GREEN, JJ., Concur.
