Lawrence LAU, Appellant v. BREAKAWAY PRACTICE, LLC, Appellee

From the 408th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas Trial Court No. 2018-CI-07115; Honorable Tina Torres, Judge Presiding

ORDER

Irene Rios, Justice

On May 18, 2022, this court ordered appellant to show cause why this appeal should not be dismissed for lack of jurisdiction because it appeared the trial court's March 9, 2022 "Final Judgment" did not dispose of all parties and all claims. We also ordered appellant to provide a reasonable explanation for failing to timely file his notice of appeal.

On June 2, 2022, appellant filed a "Response to Show Cause Order or in The Alternative Motion for Extension of Time." We conclude appellant has sufficiently shown cause to not dismiss this appeal for lack of jurisdiction and for failing to timely file the notice of appeal.

This appeal is reinstated on the court's docket. The court reporter is ORDERED to file the reporter's record no later than July 21, 2022.
