ORDER
Elizabeth Crewson Paris Judge
This case is calendared for trial at the Atlanta, Georgia Trial Session of the Court scheduled to commence on November 27, 2023.
On September 13, 2023, docket entry 9, the Court ordered the parties to file a Joint Stipulation of Facts with the Court, on or before October 6, 2023. On September 29, 2023, docket entry 12, the parties filed a Joint Status Report "in lieu of a joint stipulation of facts" because petitioner was in the process of hiring new counsel, and petitioner's new counsel had not yet entered an appearance in this case.
On October 27, 2023, docket entry 15, respondent filed with the Court a Motion for Continuance in this case. Respondent's Motion indicates that petitioner does not object to the granting of this motion. As of the date respondent filed the Motion, petitioner's new counsel had not entered an appearance in this case.
After due consideration, and for cause, it is hereby
ORDERED that jurisdiction of this case is retained by this Division of the Court. It is further
ORDERED that respondent's Motion for Continuance, filed October 27, 2023, docket entry 15, is granted in that this case is stricken for trial from the November 27, 2023, Atlanta, Georgia Trial Session of the Court, and this case is continued. It is further
ORDERED that, on or before November 22, 2023, the parties shall file a Joint Status Report (or, if that is not possible, then separate reports) with the Court as to the then-present status of this case. It is further
ORDERED that, on or before January 2, 2024, the parties shall file a Joint Stipulation of Facts with the Court to establish basic jurisdictional facts.
