ANDREA LANG, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent
ORDER
Kathleen Kerrigan Chief Judge
On May 6, 2023, petitioner electronically filed a Statement of Taxpayer Identification Number as an Application for Waiver of Filing Fee (Doc. 6). A Statement of Taxpayer Identification Number is not properly filed in the Court's record because it contains confidential taxpayer information.
Also on May 6, 2023, petitioner electronically filed a six-page document improperly designated as an Answer to Petition, As Amended (Doc. 7). Improperly included in that document is a two-page Application for Waiver of Filing Fee.
Upon due consideration of the foregoing, it is
ORDERED that the document designated Application for Waiver of Filing Fee, filed May 6, 2023, at Doc. 6 is stricken from the Court's record and is sealed from public view. Furthermore, that document shall not be inspected by any person or entity, except by an Order of the Court. It is further
ORDERED that petitioner's Answer to Petition, As Amended (Doc. 7) is recharacterized as a First Amendment to Petition. It is further
ORDERED that the Clerk of the Court shall copy pages 5 and 6 of petitioner's First Amendment to Petition (the two-page Application for Waiver of Filing Fee) and file those pages as of the date of service of this Order as a separate docket entry designated as an Application for Waiver of Filing Fee. It is further
ORDERED that petitioner's Application for Waiver of Filing Fee is granted.
