This is an appeal from the denial of a petition for writ of mandamus. We treat the appeal as a petition for writ of certiorari, see Florida Rule of Appellate Procedure 9.040(c), Sheley v. Florida Parole Commission, 703 So.2d 1202, 1205 (Fla. 1st DCA 1997), and deny the petition on the merits.

DENIED.
