Angela LAMANNA, Appellant v. The STATE of Texas, Appellee

From the 227th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2015CR5353
Honorable Kevin M. O'Connell, Judge Presiding

ORDER

Appellant filed a notice of appeal in the underlying cause on December 22, 2015, and a clerk's record was filed on December 23, 2015. The clerk's record does not contain a judgment, and the trial court clerk verbally confirmed no judgment has been signed because appellant has not been sentenced. It is therefore ORDERED that appellant show cause in writing within fifteen days from the date of this order why this appeal should not be dismissed for lack of jurisdiction because the notice of appeal was prematurely filed.

Sandee Bryan Marion, Chief Justice

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the said court on this 28th day of December, 2015.
