Danielle Kumani Petitioner v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

Maurice B. Foley Chief Judge

On September 12, 2021, petitioner filed a letter which begins "Dear IRS" as an Answer in this case. The Tax Court is separate and independent from the IRS. Both the document and its title are improper. Petitioner is advised that, if she wishes to communicate with the IRS, such communication is properly done directly with IRS personnel rather than filing a document in the record in this case. Petitioner will find IRS counsel's contact information in respondent's Answer, filed June 9, 2021.

In view of the foregoing, it is

ORDERED that petitioner's Answer, filed September 12, 2021, is stricken from the Court's record in this case.
