AUTOMOBILES AND MOTOR VEHICLES, § 119insufficiency of evidence to show negligence in injuring of boy by truck emerging from alley. In action against city and driver of its garbage truck for injury sustained by nine year old boy who, while running along sidewalk, either ran into or was struck by truck as it emerged from alley which intersected sidewalk, held that, on question of defendants' negligence, verdict for boy was contrary to manifest weight of evidence.

Appeal from the Superior Court of Cook county; the Hon. JACOB BERKOWITZ, Judge, presiding.

Judgment reversed and cause remanded for new trial. Heard in the second division, first district, this court at the February term, 1943.
