Opinion

December 27, 1961

In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, medical expenses and loss of services sustained as a result of defendants' negligence, the defendants appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County, entered February 17, 1961, after an assessment of damages by a jury, in favor of plaintiff Alice Kohler and against defendants in the sum of $30,236.25, and in favor of plaintiff John J. Kohler and against defendants in the sum of $7,000. On this appeal the defendants contend that the jury's award was excessive in that it sustained plaintiffs' claim that the accident complained of precipitated a cancer in plaintiff Alice Kohler's right breast, requiring surgery. Judgment affirmed, without costs. No opinion. Nolan, P.J., Beldock, Ughetta, Pette and Brennan, JJ., concur.
