ORDER

Petitioner Lee A. Knowlin, Jr. has filed extensive objections to the report and recommendation entered herein by the United States Magistrate Judge on June 3, 2004. Petitioner objects to the magistrate judge's recommendation that this court deny the petition for a writ of habeas corpus that petitioner filed pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254, in which he contended that he was denied his constitutional right to a fair trial by the ineffective assistance of his counsel and the misconduct of the prosecutor.

Petitioner's 49 pages of objections recycle the arguments he made to the state courts and to the magistrate judge. Lengthy as they are, they do not require any additional analysis. The magistrate judge dealt comprehensively and persuasively with each objection and explained why they did not entitle petitioner to relief, whether considered separately or together.

ORDER

IT IS ORDERED that the United States Magistrate Judge's recommendation is ADOPTED and petitioner Lee A. Knowlin Jr.'s petition for a writ of habeas corpus is DENIED for his failure to show that he is in custody in violation of the Constitution or laws of the United States.
