AUTOMOBILES AND MOTOR VEHICLES, § 35.8judgment on review in action in nature of trover. In action in nature of trover for damages for conversion of automobile and its contents, in which, on trial without jury, court found against defendant and assessed plaintiff's damages at given sum, held, on defendant's appeal, that, under circumstances, judgment would be affirmed in part and reversed in part and judgment would be entered in Appellate Court in favor of plaintiff and against defendant in sum less than one-third of that given plaintiff by trial court.

Appeal from the Municipal Court of Chicago; the Hon. HAROLD P. O'CONNELL, Judge, presiding.

Judgment affirmed in part, reversed in part, and judgment here in favor of plaintiff and against defendant in the sum of $150. Heard in the second division, first district, this court at the October term, 1942.
