On order of the Court, the application for leave to appeal the August 21, 2002 order of the Court of Appeals is considered, and it is GRANTED. The parties are directed to include among the issues to be briefed the issue of what constitutes an "original injury" under MCL 600.1629(1) in a legal malpractice case.

The Michigan Trial Lawyer's Association and the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel are invited to file briefs amicus curiae on the above issue. Other persons or groups interested in the determination of the questions presented in this case may move the Court for permission to file briefs amicus curiae.
