Deontrez L. Kitt, pro se, Petitioner.

Pamela Jo Bondi, Attorney General, and Trisha Meggs Pate, Bureau Chief, Tallahassee, for Respondent.

PER CURIAM.

We dismissed the appeal in Kitt v. State , case number 1D14–5700, when appellate counsel failed to file any brief. We now grant Kitt's petition for belated appeal, which we treat as a motion to reinstate, and we reinstate case number 1D14–5700. Appellant has already been determined indigent for purposes of appeal, and we relinquish jurisdiction to the trial court for 20 days so that the trial court can appoint counsel to represent appellant on appeal. The initial brief in case number 1D14–5700 shall be filed within 30 days of the order of appointment.
