ORDER

On May 26, 2022, respondent filed a Status Report indicating that petitioner's counsel, Pamela R. Chaney, had been unresponsive since March 17, 2022, and respondent had not received any additional information to try and resolve this case. On June 1, 2022 the Court served an Order To Show Cause in which petitioner's counsel was ordered to show cause in writing, on or before July 1, 2022, why she had been unresponsive to respondent and why, if she is unable to fulfill her duties, she had not withdrawn as counsel for petitioner. To date, the Court has received no response from petitioner's counsel, Pamela R. Chaney. Upon due consideration, and in light of attorney Pamela R, Chaney's failure to comply with the Court's Order To Show Cause served June 1, 2022, it is hereby
ORDERED: That the Court's Order To Show Cause served June 1, 2022, is made absolute, and Pamela R. Chaney is hereby withdrawn as counsel for petitioner under Rule 201(a), Tax Court Rules of Practice and Procedure, for her failure to communicate with respondent and her failure to comply with the Court's Order to Show Cause served June 1, 2022. It is further
ORDERED: That, in addition to regular service, the Clerk of the Court shall serve a copy of this Order on Pamela R. Chaney at The Chaney Law Firm, LLC, 1206 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD 21228. It is further
ORDERED: That the Clerk of the Court is directed to attach to the copy of this Order served on petitioner a copy of: (1) respondent's Status Report, filed May 26, 2022 and (2) a copy of the Court's Order to Show Cause served June 1, 2022. It is further
ORDERED: That jurisdiction is no longer retained by the undersigned and this case is returned to the general docket for trial or other disposition.
