Christopher Kinney & Kathryn Kinney Petitioners v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes Judge

This case was on the Court's October 19, 2020 trial calendar for New York City. We continued it to allow petitioners to try to settle at IRS Appeals. Progress was slow and we spoke to the parties in August to stress the need to bring informal discovery to a close and make decisions about whether and how much formal discovery will be needed. In their most recent status report the parties did report enough progress to keep the case on the status-report track. It is therefore

ORDERED that on or before January 18, 2022 the parties shall file a joint status report to describe their progress in formal discovery, including any third-party discovery.
