Opinion
Fall Sessions, 1839.
PETITION for divorce.
C. G. Ridgely and J. M. Clayton, for petitioner.
Cullen and Booth, for respondent.
In this case the court decreed a divorce a vinculo matrimonii, on the ground of extreme cruelty by the husband; restored the petitioner to all her lands and tenements; directed the transfer to her of certain securities that belonged to her before the marriage, and the restoration of a servant boy; and allowed to her out of the husband's estate the sum of one thousand dollars. The court also gave her the custody of the only child of the marriage.
