This case was called from the calendar during the Court's November 29, 2021, San Francisco, California, trial session. The parties appeared remotely via Zoomgov. During the calendar call petitioner informed the Court that they re tained a new CPA to help them gather and produce documents that are relevant to this case. Petitioner accordingly requested a continuance. We will continue the case but direct petitioner, within 45 days, to supply respondent's counsel with all documents on which they expect to rely at trial.
Upon due consideration, it is
ORDERED that the petitioner's oral motion for continuance is granted. It is further
ORDERED that this case is stricken from the Court's November 29, 2021, San Francisco, California, trial session and is continued. It is further
ORDERED that jurisdiction is retained by the undersigned. It is further
ORDERED that petitioner shall submit to respondent's counsel, by January 13, 2022, all documents on which they would expect to rely at trial. Absent extra ordinary circumstances, petitioner will not be permitted to use at trial any docu ments not supplied to respondent's counsel by this deadline. It is further
ORDERED that respondent shall file with the Court, on or before February 3, 2022, a status report detailing the then-present status of the case. If the parties do not report meaningful progress toward resolution, the Court expects to set this case for remote trial via Zoomgov during the Court's March 28, 2022, Los Angeles, California, trial session. The undersigned will be presiding.
