YOGESH KUMAR & NEHA KHURANA, Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes Judge.

This case is on the Court's May 1, 2023 San Francisco, California trial calendar. It's a high-value case that we'd continued last year when it appeared on the calendar, so we spoke with the parties today to discuss progress. As it turns out, the continuance last year for a chance to settle at IRS Appeals did not work out. If the case is to settle it will be at Chief Counsel. And the detour in hope of settlement seemed to delay completion of informal discovery. The parties both want to try to settle, but did not report on any informal discovery. It is nevertheless

ORDERED that this case is stricken from the Court's May 1, 2023 San Francisco trial calendar. It is also

ORDERED that this division of the Court retains jurisdiction. It is also

ORDERED that the parties shall file a status report on or before May 24, 2023 in which they describe any informal discovery they have requested and state when they expect informal discovery to be completed.
