SOHEILA KHODADOOST, Appellant v. EFREIGHT, Appellee

On Appeal from the County Court at Law No. 2 Collin County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. 002-00675-2024.

ORDER

ROBERT D. BURNS, III, CHIEF JUSTICE

Before the Court is appellant's May 28, 2024 motion to file certain documents directly with the Court. Because it appears appellant may obtain the requested relief by filing a formal bill of exceptions in the trial court, we DENY the motion. See Tex. R. App. P. 33.2(a)-(f). Any formal bill of exceptions must be filed in the trial court on or before June 20, 2024. See id. 4.1(a), 33.2(e)(1).

Also before the Court is appellant's May 31, 2024 motion for an extension of time to file her opening brief. The clerk's and reporter's records have not been filed. Appellant's brief will be due thirty days after the later of the date the clerk's record or reporter's record is filed. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.6(a). Accordingly, we DENY the motion as premature.
