BEHROOZ KHADEMAZAD, Appellant v. THORA PATRICIA KHADEMAZAD, Appellee

On Appeal from the 303rd Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. DF-17-21321-V

ORDER

By letter dated July 1, 2020, the Court questioned its jurisdiction over one of two orders on appeal. After reviewing appellant's response to this Court's letter, the Court has determined that it appears the Court has jurisdiction over both orders.

Before the Court is appellant's July 23, 2020 motion for an extension of time to file her brief on the merits. Because the reporter's record has not been filed, the deadline for appellant's brief has not been set. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.6(a)(2). Accordingly, we DENY appellant's motion as premature.

By postcard notice dated July 7, 2020, the Court informed the court reporter that the reporter's record was overdue and instructed her to file it within thirty days.

CHIEF JUSTICE
