Appeal from the 144th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas, Trial Court No. No. 2007-CR-8896, Honorable Catherine Torres-Stahl, Judge Presiding. DISMISSED FOR LACK OF JURISDICTION.

Sitting: KAREN ANGELINI, Justice, SANDEE BRYAN MARION, Justice, PHYLIS J. SPEEDLIN, Justice.

MEMORANDUM OPINION

Appellant, Tarayn Kent, seeks to appeal his conviction for aggravated robbery. The notice of appeal was due to be filed on February 29, 2008. Tex. R. App. P. 26.2(a)(1). A motion for extension of time to file the notice of appeal was timely filed on March 3, 2008. Tex. R. App. P. 26.3. However, appellant has not filed the notice of appeal in the trial court. See id. Therefore, on March 10, 2008, we ordered appellant to show cause in writing by March 24, 2008, why this appeal should not be dismissed for lack of jurisdiction. Appellant has failed to respond to this court's order. Accordingly, this appeal is dismissed. See Tex. R. App. P. 25.2(b), 26.2(a), 26.3.
