TIM KENT & WENDI KENT, Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Jennifer E. Siegel Special Trial Judge

On August 29, 2024, petitioners filed a Motion to Proceed Remotely. A further review of the case indicates that the issues presented do not lend themselves easily to a remote proceeding. Upon due consideration of the record and for cause, it is

ORDERED that petitioners' motion is denied. It is further

ORDERED that this case is calendared for trial at a date and time certain of Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the Timberlake Federal Annex, 501 East Polk Street, Room 1201, 12th Floor, Tampa, Florida 33602. It is further

ORDERED that the parties are excused from appearing at calendar call on October 28, 2024.

Petitioners are reminded of the potential availability of tax clinics as explained in the Notice Setting Case For Trial served May 28, 2024. Both parties are advised that, if they agree on a more convenient date and time for the trial to be held during the Court's Tampa, Florida trial session scheduled to run October 28, 2024, through November 1, 2024, they should contact the Court to request it.
