Appeals from two orders of the Supreme Court, Westchester County, dated April 16, 2021, and June 7, 2021, respectively. Motion by Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, E.W. Scripps Company, First Amendment Coalition, Media Institute, MediaNews Group, New York News Publishers Association, New York Public Radio, New York Times Company, Online News Association, Radio Television Digital News Association, Society of Professional Journalists, and Tully Center for Free Speech for leave to file an amici curiae brief. Separate motion by Public Citizen, Inc. for leave to file an amicus curiae brief.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motions and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion by Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, E.W. Scripps Company, First Amendment Coalition, Media Institute, MediaNews Group, New York News Publishers Association, New York Public Radio, New York Times Company, Online News Association, Radio Television Digital News Association, Society of Professional Journalists, and Tully Center for Free Speech is granted, the amici curiae shall serve and file their brief on the parties, via NYSCEF on or before March 30, 2022, and, if so advised, the parties may file reply briefs to the amici curiae brief within 30 days after the amici curiae briefs are served; no oral argument by the amici curiae shall be permitted; and it is further, ORDERED that the motion by Public Citizen, Inc. is denied.
