AUTOMOBILES AND MOTOR VEHICLES, § 128contributory negligence of pedestrian, sufficiency of evidence to support verdict. In action for wrongful death of pedestrian struck by truck while pedestrian was crossing street at cross-walk, testimony of three witnesses that deceased was not watching oncoming traffic and walked into the side of the truck held sufficient to support verdict and judgment in favor of defendants (HEBEL, J., dissenting).

Appeal from the Superior Court of Cook county; the Hon. PAUL McWILLIAMS, Judge, presiding.

Judgment affirmed. Heard in the third division, first district, this court at the December term, 1942.
