This case was called from the calendar for the remote Trial Session of the Court commencing on February 27, 2023. On the morning of February 27, 2023, and a few hours before this case was called from the calendar, petitioner filed a Motion for Continuance.
When the case was called from the calendar, there was no appearance by or on behalf of petitioner. Counsel for respondent appeared and was heard. This case was recalled on March 2, 2023. At the recall, petitioner and counsel for respondent appeared and were heard. Upon due consideration of the record and for cause more fully appearing in the transcript of the proceeding, it is hereby
ORDERED that petitioner's Motion for Continuance, filed on February 27, 2023, is granted and this case is continued. It is further
ORDERED that jurisdiction of this case is retained by this Division of the Court. It is further
ORDERED that this case is calendared for trial (to be conducted remotely) at a date and time certain on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 9 a.m. (EST) during the March 20, 2023, Dallas, Texas Trial Session of the Court (which has recently been changed to be conducted remotely). It is further
ORDERED that the Clerk of the Court shall serve on the parties: (1) a Notice of Remote Proceeding that shall contain comprehensive instructions on how to participate in the above-referenced remote proceeding and (2) a copy of the Standing Pretrial Order for the Court's March 20, 2023, remote Dallas, Texas Trial Session.
