On Appeal from the 152nd District Court Harris County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. 2014-67306
ORDER
On March 1, 2015, appellant filed in this court an affidavit of indigence. On March 2, 2016, this court forwarded the affidavit to the trial court and instructed the clerk to send a copy to the appropriate court reporter. We instructed that any contest to the affidavit was due ten days after the affidavit was received by the trial court clerk. We further instructed that if a contest was filed, upon hearing the contest, the trial court must promptly prepare, certify, and file in this court a clerk's record containing (1) the final judgment, (2) notice of appeal, (3) affidavit of indigence, (4) contest to the affidavit of indigence, (5) the trial court's signed order ruling on the contest, and (6) any other documents directly related to the affidavit of indigence. Our review has determined that the clerk's record has not been filed.
The Harris County District Clerk is directed to file a clerk's record on or before April 20, 2016, containing the items listed above.
If the omitted items are not part of the case file, the district clerk is directed to file a clerk's record containing a certified statement that the omitted items are not a part of the case file.
