ORDER

Patrick J. Urda Judge.

This case is currently calendared for trial at the Court's Baltimore, Maryland trial session, scheduled to begin April 8, 2024.

On March 8, 2024, petitioner Abu B. Kabba filed a motion for continuance. The Commissioner subsequently filed an objection to the continuance and a motion to dismiss for lack of prosecution.

Upon due consideration and for cause, it is

ORDERED that Mr. Kabba's motion for continuance is granted, and this case is continued from the above-referenced trial session. The parties are excused from appearing for trial in Baltimore, Maryland on April 8, 2024. It is further

ORDERED that jurisdiction of this case is retained by the undersigned. It is further

ORDERED that the Commissioner's motion to dismiss for lack of prosecution filed March 13, 2024, is taken under advisement. It is further

ORDERED that, no later than May 15, 2024, Mr. Kabba shall confer with counsel for the Commissioner to work together to resolve this case. It is further

ORDERED that, no later than May 22, 2024, both parties shall contact the undersigned's Chambers at (202)521-0800 for purposes of scheduling a conference call to discuss the status of this case.

We remind Mr. Kabba that failure to comply with this Order may result in a dismissal of this case or other appropriate action by this Court.
