TONY DEJUAN JONES, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the 203rd Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. F13-59558-P

ORDER

The Court REINSTATES the appeal.

On November 24, 2015, we ordered the trial court to make findings regarding why the reporter's record has not been filed. We ADOPT the findings that: (1) appellant desires to pursue the appeal; (2) appellant is indigent and entitled to proceed without payment for the record; (3) appellant is represented by court-appointed counsel Bruce Anton; (4) Karren Jones is the court reporter who recorded the proceedings; (5) Ms. Jones stated she did not receive notice of the appeal until January 15, 2016; and (6) Ms. Jones stated she needed sixty days from the January 21, 2016 hearing to complete the record.

We ORDER Karren Jones to file the complete reporter's record, including all exhibits admitted into evidence, by MARCH 25, 2016. Because the record is already more than three months overdue, no further extensions will be granted.

We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to Karren Jones, Auxiliary Court Reporter, and to counsel for all parties.
