Jones v. S D Warren Company

Supreme Court of Michigan
Jun 20, 1997
455 Mich. 851 (Mich. 1997)

Opinion

No. 107254.

June 20, 1997

Summary Dispositions June 20, 1997:

In lieu of granting leave to appeal, the Court of Appeals order of July 18, 1996, dismissing plaintiff's application for leave to appeal with that Court, is vacated, and the case is remanded to the Court of Appeals for further consideration of the application. MCR 7.302(F)(1). The Court improperly dismissed the application because of its confusion over the proper name of the defendant. The application for leave to appeal as cross-appellant is denied because the Supreme Court is not persuaded that the questions presented should now be reviewed. Jurisdiction is not retained.

Court of Appeals No. 191887.
