Oct 3, 2002
Civil Action No. 02-409 (E.D. Pa. Oct. 3, 2002)

Opinion

Civil Action No. 02-409.

October 3, 2002

MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

William Seymour Jones ("Plaintiff") filed a Motion for Appointment of Counsel and/or a Special Master on February 28, 2002, which Judge Hutton denied with leave to renew. Plaintiff then filed his Renewed Motion for Appointment of Counsel on March 12, 2002, which Judge Hutton denied because Plaintiff had not demonstrated the appropriate need for appointed counsel.

Presently before this Court is Plaintiff's Motion for Appointment of Counsel, which was filed on September 9, 2002. The Court will deny Plaintiff's Motion because he has not alleged any new facts or circumstances supporting the need for appointment of counsel.

AND NOW, this 3rd day of October, 2002, it is ORDERED that Plaintiff's Motion for Appointment of Counsel is DENIED.

It is further ORDERED that:

1. discovery shall be completed by November 30, 2002;

2. dispositive motions shall be filed by December 6, 2002; and

3. this case will be placed in the trial pool as of January 13, 2003.
