Jones v. Dept. of Children and Fam

District Court of Appeal of Florida, First District
Mar 31, 2004
871 So. 2d 295 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 2004)

Opinion

Case No. 1D02-5062.

Opinion filed March 31, 2004.

An appeal from an order of the Department of Children and Families.

Ben R. Patterson of Patterson Traynham, Tallahassee, for Appellant.

John R. Perry, Assistant District Legal Counsel, Department of Children and Families, Tallahassee, for Appellee.

In this appeal of a final order of the Department of Children and Families which disqualified James Jones from employment, Jones argues the Department wrongfully disqualified him from his employment "as it had no statutory authority to do so." This argument is without merit. Accordingly, the final order is AFFIRMED.

KAHN, BENTON AND VAN NORTWICK, JJ., CONCUR.

NOT FINAL UNTIL TIME EXPIRES TO FILE MOTION FOR REHEARING AND DISPOSITION THEREOF IF FILED.
