William Curtis Jones Petitioner v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

Maurice B. Foley Chief Judge

On the Request for Place of Trial form that petitioner has filed with the Court, he has checked the box requesting San Antonio, Texas, as the place of trial in this case. However, next to that box, petitioner also has handwritten, "or Austin?" Austin, Texas is not listed as an option on the Request for Place of Trial form.

In view of the foregoing, the Court will designate San Antonio as the place of trial for this case. If petitioner wishes to designate a place of trial other than San Antonio, he may file a motion to change place of trial and designate therein a place of trial that is listed on the Request for Place of Trial form. Petitioner is advised that only the cities listed on the Request for Place of Trial form may be designated as a place of trial in this case.

For cause, it is

ORDERED that San Antonio, Texas, is designated as the place of trial in this case.
