WRIT GRANTED. The district court's January 3, 2024 judgment granting the petition to cancel liens and return of cash bonds filed by plaintiff, Jones Construction, LLC (Jones), is reversed. Further, the portions of the judgment instructing the clerk of court to cancel the liens is also reversed. Because the evidence establishes the liens were timely filed, the district court erred in granting Jones's petition. See Nu-Lite Electrical Wholesalers, LLC v. Axis Construction Group, LLC, 2017-1204 (La.App. 1st Cir. 4/9/18), 249 So.3d 10, writ denied, 2018-0914 (La. 9/28/18), 253 So.3d 142.
