THERON W. JOHNSON, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee
DISMISS; Opinion Filed May 18, 2012.
On Appeal from the 380th Judicial District Court
Collin County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. 380-82005-2011
MEMORANDUM OPINION
Before Chief Justice Wright and Justices Bridges and Myers
Opinion By Chief Justice Wright
Theron W. Johnson has filed a second notice of appeal complaining the trial court denied him an examining trial. This Court dismissed appellant's first appeal for want of jurisdiction because the denial of an examining trial is neither an appeal from a final judgment nor included among the types of other appealable orders. See Wright v. State, 969 S.W.2d 588, 589 (Tex. App.-Dallas 1998, no pet.) (identifying types of appealable orders). Because appellant again seeks to appeal the same decision, we likewise dismiss this appeal for want of jurisdiction.
