DENETRIUS MILLER JOHNSON, APPELLANT v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, APPELLEE
APPEAL FROM THE 241ST
JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT
SMITH COUNTY, TEXAS
MEMORANDUM OPINION
PER CURIAM
Appellant pleaded guilty to theft by check, and the trial court assessed punishment at confinement for fifteen months in a state jail facility. We have received the trial court's certification showing that Appellant waived the right to appeal. See TEX. R. APP. P. 25.2(d). The certification is signed by Appellant and Appellant's counsel. The clerk's record contains a written waiver of the right to appeal signed by Appellant, Appellant's counsel, and the trial court. Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed for want of jurisdiction. Panel consisted of Worthen, C.J., Griffith, J., and Hoyle, J.
