Johnson v. State

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Second District
Jun 14, 2000
760 So. 2d 293 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 2000)

Opinion

No. 2D97-2084.

Opinion filed June 14, 2000.

Appeal from the Circuit Court for Hillsborough County; Cynthia A. Holloway, Judge.

James Marion Moorman, Public Defender, and John S. Lynch, Assistant Public Defender, Bartow, for Appellant.

Robert A. Butterworth, Attorney General, Tallahassee, and Robert J. Krauss, Senior Assistant Attorney General, Chief of Criminal Law, Tampa, for Appellee.

We affirm the judgments of conviction on appeal in this case. Most of the sentences on appeal concern offenses prior to 1995. However, the longest sentences were imposed for offenses occurring on April 16, 1996. Accordingly, we remand for reconsideration of sentence. See Smith v. State, No. 2D98-3800, 2000 WL 668492, at *1 (Fla. 2d DCA May 24, 2000).
