PARRIS DUPRI JOHNSON, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee
On Appeal from the 203rd Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. F21-75810
ORDER
BONNIE LEE GOLDSTEIN, JUSTICE
We VACATE this Court's order of July 31, 2024. That order was based on an incorrect calculation of the record due date. The following is now the order of this Court.
The reporter's record is overdue. The record was originally due August 5, 2024. Appellant file a "Pauper Oath" on April 9, 2024, and appellant's counsel filed a request and designation of the reporter's record on April 22, 2024; however, that request and designation was addressed to the former, and not the current, official court reporter for the 203rd District Court.
We ORDER court reporter David Laurel to file the reporter's record on or before OCTOBER 7, 2024. If Mr. Laurel is unable to file the reporter's record by October 7, 2024, he shall file with this Court, on or before that date, a request for extension of time to file the reporter's record. If Mr. Laurel is not the court reporter for the case, he shall notify this Court, on or before September 12, 2024, the identify of the court reporter for this case.
We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to the Honorable Raquel Jones, Presiding Judge, 203rd Judicial District Court; David Laurel, Official Court Reporter, 203rd Judicial District Court; and counsel for all parties.
