    We recognize that this Court has previously acknowledged that "transfer hearings are ‘analogous to preliminary hearings’ " in that, in both hearings, the court must determine whether there is probable cause to believe the accused committed the crime with which he is charged. J.L. v. State, 826 So. 2d 205, 207 (Ala. Crim. App. 2001) (quoting O.M., 595 So. 2d at 517).

J.L. v. State, 826 So.2d 205, 207 (Ala.Crim.App.2001) (quoting O.M., 595 So.2d at 517). However, our decision in this case has no bearing on whether the right to confrontation is applicable in a preliminary hearing.
