IN THE MATTER OF J.I.G., A CHILD, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the County Court at Law No. 2 Galveston County, Texas
Trial Court Cause Nos. 19-JV-0406 and 19-JV-0407-CV

ORDER

These are accelerated appeals from orders waiving jurisdiction and transferring the cases to district court for J.I.G., a juvenile, to stand trial as an adult. See Tex. Fam. Code Ann. § 56.01.

The reporter's record was due July 6, 2020. See Tex. R. App. P. 35.1(b). On that date, court reporter Mary Kathyrn Piper submitted the record, but this court rejected the filing because the exhibit volume contained no documents, was not bookmarked, and was not PDF searchable. We instructed Piper to correct the deficiency and resubmit the entire record by July 13, 2020. The reporter's record has not been received.

Therefore, we order Mary Kathryn Piper to file the record in these appeals on or before July 27, 2020. If the record is not filed by that date, we will order the trial court to conduct a hearing to determine the reason for the failure to file the record.

PER CURIAM Panel consists of Justices Wise, Bourliot, and Spain
